Mitutoyo, being one of the leading dimensional measuring instruments‘ manufacturers worldwide, attracts those interested in premium quality and outstanding accuracy at Control in Stuttgart/Germany. 2017 sees the 31st consecutive year of the world-leading trade fair for quality assurance. The attractive 540 sqm Mitutoyo booth in white and orange colours brings about a warm, welcoming atmosphere and was in phases very crowded on May 9 – the first day of the show.
One of the eye-catching attractions is the vision in-line measuring system „Quality Gate“ of cooperation partner Mapvision from Finland, capable of scanning all features of all produced parts.
Outstanding future technology is displayed by the new TAG Lens, integrated into a Wide-VMU widefield video measuring unit. The Lens boast the by far fastest focusing figures throughout the world – without any moving components.
Multi-sensor technology is what the new form and surface roughness tester Formtracer Extreme SV-C 4500CNC Hybrid Type 1 stands for. It combines three separate CNC devices in just one instrument.
The ground-breaking, easy to use Quick Image vision measuring instrument range is now complemented by a version with a CNC stage and stitching function for the check of larger workpieces.
Surface Measure 201FS is the name of a newly launched laser scanner for coordinate measuring machines. The flying spot technology makes for extremely high accuracy. And the nes HR-500 Rockwell hardness tester boasts a wealth of new functions and possibilities.
