Calibration is an essential part of the activities of any company if quality control is taken seriously. Measurement to a consistently high level of accuracy can only be achieved if instruments are periodically calibrated against traceable standards.

Mitutoyo can provide a full range of services to meet this requirement at its environmentally controlled calibration laboratory in our Coventry Metrology Centre, which has full UKAS accreditation and is equipped to handle every conceivable dimensional measurement need. It is recognised as one of the finest facilities of its kind in Europe.

Mitutoyo offers two types of service: a laboratory based Calibration Service at Coventry for portable measuring instruments, and an On-site Calibration Service for the larger type of instrument. All our customers are assured of a fast turnaround on all calibration requirements involving all dimensional instrumentation.

Looking for on-site Calibration?

Maintain machine accuracy, functionality and efficiency with OEM Calibration.

The Mitutoyo field service team provides accredited calibration for CMMs, vision measuring machines and precision measuring instruments. With fully trained service technicians across the country and access to original manufacturer parts, we are able to provide the highest level of service to our customers.

What to expect

When Calibration has been ordered with a new or repaired items for completion in our UKAS Accredited Calibration Laboratory, the Basis of Calibration unless clearly stated otherwise on the Purchase Order, will be to the applicable BS, ISO, DIN or JIS standards as stated on our UKAS Scope of Accreditation, manufacturers/client specification or traceable results. Items that are not covered by our UKAS schedule will be covered by our In-House calibration procedures.

For Calibration of items completed at the customer premises, the Basis of Calibration will be advised at quotation stage.
