In a Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) system that distributes 3D CAD data (3DA models) with attached information such as PMI to departments outside the design departments and to suppliers, by utilizing the data throughout the company, work efficiency is improved through accurate communication of design intent and linking of information between each process.
MiCAT Planner automatically extracts measurement items based on the PMI of the 3D CAD model. The designer's intentions can be properly reflected during measurement, and there is no need for the measurement operator to teach the system the measurement path while looking at drawings.
The software included in this Mitutoyo FREE TRIAL can be used for 60 days after installation.
Important: Part programs generated by this demo/test version of MiCAT-Planner, require an MCOSMOS-Run option at the CMM on which this part program is to be executed. This MCOSMOS-Run option is included in this test version but also expires after 60 days.
